Drama from legendary filmmaker Wong Kar Wai. Norah Jones stars as Elizabeth, a woman who has just been through a tough breakup with her boyfriend (Chad R. Davis). In an attempt to get over her heartbreak, she decides to embark on a road trip across America. On her journey, Elizabeth encounters a host of lost souls whose troubles are even greater than her own, including a troubled cop (David Strathairn), his estranged wife (Rachel Weisz), and an embittered gambler (Natalie Portman). The trio's emotional turmoils ultimately help Elizabeth gain a greater understanding of her own problems.
