Drama based on the novel 'Chronicler of the Winds' by Swedish crime writer Henning Mankell. In the Mozambique capital Maputo, a baker called Jose (Joao Manja) finds a street urchin lying wounded in the deserted theatre next to his bakery. It turns out that Nelio (Sergio Titos) has lost his entire family in the civil war. Refusing medical treatment, the boy instead asks for sanctuary and proceeds to tell the terrible and eventful tale of his past.
