Made-for-TV action horror in which a group of chemically-enhanced sharks attack the residents of a coastal town. Businessman Hamilton Lux (Armand Assante) is determined to develop the town of Full Moon Bay into a tourist resort; so determined that he is prepared to lace the seas with fish-killing chemicals in order to force rival property owners, Daniel and Brook Wilder (John Schneider and Daryl Hannah), to sell him their land. However, when marine biologist Amy Zuckerman (Heather McComb) arrives to investigate she is disturbed by what she finds. Not only have all the fish died but the chemicals appear to have had the opposite effect on the local sharks: they are even faster and more violent and without fish to feed on will have to find an alternative food source...
