Professionally shot live footage of the bands legendary performance at the Reading Festival! It is anybody's guess what made him or her bet on this weird horse that seemed far out of the usual line of mainstream music video fare but it earned MTV the jackpot. Nevertheless Seattle-based Nirvana hit the raw nerve of the Zeitgeist to become the (stage-managed) mouthpiece of their generation.... Whether intended or not is open to debate but one thing seems certain: guitarist and singer/songwriter Kurt Cobain probably didn't set out to become a role model for millions of teenagers in the first place.
