Michael Redgrave, Michael Craig and Juliet Mills star in this British comedy directed by Ralph Thomas. The film follows teenager Tansy (Mills) as she runs off with American Cornelius Allingham (James Westmoreland). Her wealthy, industrialist father Sir Michael Carr (Redgrave) quickly initiates a widespread manhunt for her and when he realises the extent of Cornelius's wealth he readily grants his approval to their relationship. However, it seems Tansy has fallen for Thomas Barclay (Craig), the very man who was sent to retrieve her from Cornelius.
