Oswald was created designed and developed for television by Dan Yaccarino a distinguished children's book author and illustrator. Each episode follows the adventures of Oswald a blue octopus and his pet hot-dog Weenie through a crazy and sometimes whimsical world. The stories focus on the experience and dilemmas that young children face from the possibility of your best friend moving away to helping someone to overcome their shyness. The characters include Henry - a fussy and particular penguin Daisy - an energetic and imaginative flower Madame Butterful... - a maternal figure with lots of common sense who lives at the big diner with her baby daughter Catrina the caterpillar.
