Spanish horror thriller from writer/director Juan Carlos Medina. Set during the Spanish Civil War, the film follows the story of an asylum where children with an inability to feel pain were sent to live as test subjects for the sinister Doctor Carcedo (Roman Fontserè). In the present day, neurosurgeon David (Alex Brendemühl) learns he has lymphoma and requires a bone marrow transplant. As David starts to look into his family's medical history he discovers the dark secrets of his family's research that have long been hidden.
