Classic Western directed by Allan Dwan and starring Cornel Wilde, Yvonne De Carlo and Raymond Burr. Juan Obregon (Wilde) returns home to his California ranch and discovers that the woman he loves is pregnant. Juan heads into town in order to arrange their marriage, but when he returns he is met with the terrible sight of his ranch burned to the ground and his family killed. The only person to survive is the sister of Juan's love, Tona Melo (De Carlo), and together they embark on a quest for survival and vengeance.
