Classic adventure drama directed by Allan Dwan and starring Virginia Mayo and Lance Fuller. When Rita Delaine (Mayo) joins up with a pair of beachcombers in order to find some highly valuable black pearls on a remote Pacific island, they arrive on the island to find the isolated natives led by a westerner posing as a high priest. Rita masquerades as a missionary herself while growing closer to the high priest's son, George (Fuller). Before long the hunt for the black pearls turns the tranquil island and its inhabitants upside down.
