Pee-wee's Playhouse is a children's television program which aired on the CBS network in the US between 1986 and 1991 starring Paul Reubens as the child-like character Pee-wee Herman. The show combined live action video effects animation puppetry and vintage cartoons and featured Pee-wee living in a wild and wacky house known as the Playhouse full of talking chairs animals robots and other puppet and human characters.
