Captain Jack Sparrow returns only to find that the infamous Davy Jones is after his soul.
I recently wrote a review on the 1st movie of the triology. My family and I watched this movie in the cinemas. As I said, I hated the first movie, so I knew not to expect the best out of this movie, but when I saw this movie, I was blasted. The acting was much better and Gore Verbinski expressed a different side of piracy. Johnny Depp was excellent in this movie which was a big difference, so was Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. Jack Davenport had a bigger part. In this movie, Verbinski put in new characters, I must admit nobody could have chosen a better role for Davy Jones and Lord Cutler Beckett. Stellan Skarsgard played as Bootstrap Bill, Will's father and did an okayish job.
I reccomend this to anyone who hated the first one. Yes, people who loved the first one will probably think this is not as good as the first one, but my point of view has been done. Brilliant movie! 8/10

Captain Jack Sparrow is back in this adventure sequel. Once again thrown into the world of the supernatural, Jack (Johnny Depp) finds out that he owes a blood debt to the legendary Davy Jones (Bill Nighy), Captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman. With time running out, Jack must find a way out of his debt or else be doomed to eternal damnation and servitude in the afterlife. But Jack will not give in without a fight, which is especially bad news for Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley), who always seem to get caught up in Jack's mishaps. If Jack can't find a way to rid himself of Davy Jones once and for all, it may just spell the end for the three adventurers.
