'Boyz 'n' the Hood' director John Singleton helms this story of a poetry writing LA hairdresser (Janet Jackson) who sets out on a road trip with a mailman (Tupac Shakur), even though they hate each other. On the road trip they unexpectedly detour towards romance, but then return to the violence they left behind.
