Strongman sailor Popeye and his spindly girlfriend Olive Oil have finally got themselves hitched. They star with their son Popeye Jr. Popeye Olive and Junior live in the seaside town of Sweethaven where Popeye runs a health club and Olive teaches aerobics. Son Junior is a chip off the old block. He and his best friends enjoy a childs dream of endless summer activities; swimming diving and surfing. The only fly in the ointment is Popeye's archrival Bluto and his son Tank.
