Stuart Townsend takes over Tom Cruise's 'Interview with a Vampire' role as the undead Lestat in this big screen adaptation of the third book in Anne Rice's 'Vampire Chronicles' series. Now a world-famous rock star, Lestat holds a press conference to announce his plans for a huge concert in Death Valley. Meanwhile, vampire researcher Jesse Reeves (Marguerite Moreau) begins looking into the rock star's background and grows concerned that he might be planning to reawaken Akasha (Aaliyah), the Queen of the Undead. However, when Jesse finally meets Lestat, she soon falls for his deadly charms and asks that he might make her a vampire too.
