Right at the end of the rainbow there exists a magical kingdom called Rainbowland where little Rainbow Brite uses the colours of the rainbow to make a whole world a brighter place. Together with her magical horse Starlight and the little creatures called Sprites she protects Rainbowland from Murky and Lurky Dismal. Mom: When Murky's mother arrives for an unexpected visit he tries to trick her into helping him make Rainbowland gloomy but she helps Rainbow Brite thwart Murky's plans instead sending him back to the Pits. A Horse Of A Different Colour: As a diversion to... kidnap Starlight Murky builds a mechanical horse to run in the big race at the annual Sprite Fair. To foil the plot Rainbow Brite must get some help from Krys and Sunriser a beautiful pink horse. Queen Of The Sprites: The Dark Princess and Count Blogg come to Rainbowland and convince the Sprites that she is their queen and that they must mine magic diamonds for her in the Colour Cave - diamonds she plans to use to destroy Rainbow Brite! Star Sprinkled: An intergalactic conman tricks the Sprites into signing over the deed to the Colour Cave which she plans to turn into a visitor attraction.
