In this programme Rex concentrates his attention on the top end of Australia. We explore the wonderful peninsula around Cape York situated on the North East tip of Queensland and one of the wildest and most remote tropical wilderness areas in Australia. It is in this clear sea water that we find mackerel golden trevally and queenies whilst Rex tries not to get stung by the infamous box jellyfish. Rex also shows off his culinary skills by preparing his famous flake. We visit Croker Isalnd in the Northern Territory where Rex manages a double hook-up of enormous trevally.... In the magnificent wetlands of Kakadu in the Northern Territory Australia's largest national park Rex lands a river whaler shark and a 20lb barramundi. Rex revisits Cape Don in the Northern Territory as well as Broome in Western Australia where a shark devours Rex's blue salmon right in front of his eyes! Fly fishing at Yardoogarra Creek in Western Australia ends the trip to Australia's Top End. [show more]
