Christine Bleakley and Dr Michael Scott take to the skies to see what life was like for Romans and Britons 2000 years ago. London was created by the Romans and this can be vividly appreciated from the air; this film presents a unique and breathtaking view of British history. In a captivating journey across the UK from London to Wales and then heading north to spectacular Hadrian's Wall, some of the secrets of everyday life in Roman Britain are uncovered: our airborne explorers come across 1800 year old hand cream, find a massive chunk of Roman Britain in an underground car park and pay a visit to a Roman toilet at the very edge of the Roman Empire.

Christine Bleakley and historian Dr. Michael Scott present this ITV documentary in which they take flight in a helicopter to examine what life was like in Britain 2000 years ago. Travelling from London to Wales and visiting iconic historical locations across Britain including Hadrian's Wall and the Caerleon Amphitheatre, the pair investigate the Roman remains from land and sky to find out more about all facets of the Roman's way of life.
