Director Percy Adlon's comic satire on the American consumer boom. Marianne Sagebrecht stars as Rosalie Greenspace, a German midwestern mother detemined to give her family the best things in life, even if that means maxing out the credit card to do it. When the local shopkeepers twig, and her credit runs out, her daughter's suggestion of buying a PC opens up a whole new world for Rosalie, turning her from serial shopper to serial hacker.
