Double bill featuring two popular thrillers. In 'S.W.A.T.' (2003), Colin Farrell stars as Jim Street in a big-screen adaptation of the 1970s police-action television series. Street is a young special weapons and tactics team member who has just been demoted after a bad incident and is then chosen by S.W.A.T. expert Hondo Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson) to join an elite team which plans to heighten its public image. Tough single mother Chris Sanchez (Michelle Rodriguez) and veteran T.J. (Josh Charles) are put together with Street and the team survive a series of tests before their first big assignment. The assignment involves transporting an international criminal, who has offered $1 million to anyone who can help him escape, to federal authorities. 'Inside Man' (2006) is directed by Spike Lee and stars Denzel Washington as tough cop Keith Frazier, who finds himself drawn into a tense hostage situation when master criminal Dalton Russell's (Clive Owen) planned bank heist goes drastically wrong. Trying to negotiate the release of the hostages, Frazier begins to realise that something isn't quite right with the whole set up, and when enigmatic Madeline White (Jodie Foster) arrives on the scene, he realises that he's stumbled onto something a lot bigger.
