Being the 11th incarnation of this show, it really had to live up to expectations or Scooby-doo could lose it's reputation. It's now been screened on 2 TV channels, Nickelodion and CBBC, but when they're on every night or Saturday, It's really hard to keep track, and I ended up missing quite a lot of episodes, so decided I would put a stop to that, buy the DVD's so I could watch my favourite TV show anytime. This, by far is the best quality DVD of Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. that has come out, purely because is has 14 episodes and the others have 4. It's much easier to buy this DVD than buying little DVD's of 4 episodes, especially when they're the same price. Enough on the DVD's, I'll explain the actual show.
At first, I was a little bit sceptical about the reboot of this show. It introduces many new characters, including the gang's parents, new music (The Hex Girls) and other changes to voices etc, but I was wrong! The story weaves through right from the first episode to the last at the end of season 2, as Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, Scooby-doo and some of their friends track down the elusive 'Mr E', some mysterious treasure, solving mysteries along the way in their spooky hometown, Crystal cove. The sound and picture is great quality, and the faces/appearance of the gang has changed, almost to the point like you feel you're in the movie. Chuck in some romantic interest as well, and you've got yourself a great show. Also added in are the Hex Girls, a favourite pop group of the gang (especially Velma). They Pop up in a lot of episodes, and help the gang, but their music is even better! When is the hex girls album coming out?
Thats about all, but here are just some of the episodes on this DVD.
"When the cicada calls"- a group of angry bugs attack crystal cove, but who is behind it?
"Escape from mystery Manor"- getting in to the spooky mansion is one thing, how do they get out?
"A Haunting in Crystal Cove" - Fred's dad Mayor Jones is in possession of an important item that may be behind the Crystal Cove curse. But someone or something may be after it as well

"All Fear the Freak" - It's the epic finale where not only the trail of the hidden treasure is revealed, but also some startling truths and the big breakup of the gang.

Wow, just 4 of the epic episodes included. enjoy the DVD, and I hope this review was helpful.

The last 14 episodes from the first season of the animated show in which Scooby, Shaggy and co. return for fresh adventures. In this series the five jump back into the Mystery Machine to embark on the important business of solving ghost riddles, with all the thrills, spills and frights this entails.
