An ancient pestilence called The Scourge has been set free in a small town after being entombed in a church's masonry for a century and a half. What no-one realises, however, is that a voracious, parasitic entity has been freed from the local church where it has been contained for centuries, and is now bearing down on the sleepy town of Harborford, invading and feeding off any humans in its path.
