Following the death of his father, 17-year-old Andrew Eriksen (Monty Lapica) becomes a violent drug addict. When his previously promising future begins to quickly disappear, his mother Louise (Diane Venora), who is dealing with issues of her own, finds she has no alternative but to arrange for her son to be forcibly taken to a locked-down facility. But as he endures abusive treatment Andrew realises he must find the strength he needs to confront his demons and regain the life he once had.
