Triple bill of serial killer movies. 'Urban Explorers' (2011) follows a group led by Kris (Max Riemelt), who have been drawn to the underground tunnels and passageways of Berlin by its fraught and complex history. In search of the quasi-mystical 'Führerbunker', they secretly make their way into a disused tunnel system to begin their quest. However, misfortune strikes when Kris suffers a fall and becomes unconscious. Left in darkness beneath the city, with their guide seriously injured, the group are initially relieved when a former East German border guard, Armin (Klaus Stiglmeier), appears and offers to lead them to safety. But what are Armin's real intentions? 'A Horrible Way to Die' (2010) follows Sarah (Amy Seimetz), a recovering alcoholic whose problems with drink are partially responsible for the fact that it took her so long to recognise the erratic behaviour of her boyfriend, Garrick (AJ Bowen). When she discovered that Garrick was responsible for a spree of killings, Amy turned him in and moved to a small town in a bid to move on with her life. At an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting she bumps into Kevin (Joe Swanberg) and the pair begin a relationship. However, the news that Garrick has escaped from captivity chills her to the bone. She knows that the killer will do everything in his power to track down the woman who betrayed him. 'The Last Victim' (2010) is a drama detailing the unusual relationship that develops between college student Jason Moss (Jesse Moss) and the object of his fascination, serial killer John Wayne Gacy (William Forsythe). Hoping to befriend notorious serial killer Gacy for his criminology thesis, Moss starts writing letters to him in jail - but soon finds himself unsettlingly outmanoeuvred by his anti-hero.
