While trying to develop a serum to cure the world's ills, Dr. Edward Kanopolus (David H. Hickey) comes under increasing pressure from his funder, a major pharmaceutical company. With time running out before his funds are withdrawn, Kanopolus cuts corners, and in the process unleashes a mutant monster that breaks free from the lab and embarks on a bloody killing spree.
