Mae West stars in this 1970s musical comedy based on her play about the relationship difficulties of an ageing movie star. Marlo Manners (West), a legendary Hollywood figure, arrives at a lavish hotel to celebrate her honeymoon with her sixth husband, Sir Michael Barrington (Timothy Dalton). However, circumstances contrive against the couple as the many individuals desperate for Marlo's attention - TV and newspaper reporters, ex-husbands, awestruck fans and, less conventionally, secret agents - conspire to get in their way. The film features appearances from a number of well-known actors and musicians including Tony Curtis, Ringo Starr, Keith Moon and Alice Cooper.
