A real-estate tycoon Lux sets his sights on quaint fishing town Full Moon Bay as the new location for a seaside getaway for the wealthy but the residents who own property where he wants to build are not so keen. When they refuse to budge Lux laces the water supply with a toxin deadly to marine life in order to force the local fishermen out but the toxin reacts with the local sharks turning them deadly and with no fish around to eat they turn to humans as their new snack. Made-for-TV action horror in which a group of chemically-enhanced sharks attack the residents of a coastal town. Businessman Hamilton Lux (Armand Assante) is determined to develop the town of Full Moon Bay into a tourist resort; so determined that he is prepared to lace the seas with fish-killing chemicals in order to force rival property owners, Daniel and Brook Wilder (John Schneider and Daryl Hannah), to sell him their land. However, when marine biologist Amy Zuckerman (Heather McComb) arrives to investigate she is disturbed by what she finds. Not only have all the fish died but the chemicals appear to have had the opposite effect on the local sharks: they are even faster and more violent and without fish to feed on will have to find an alternative food source...
