Slovenian drama about the corruption and brutality of European immigration. Krsko is a small industrial town near the border with Croatia, and with Slovenia's only nuclear power plant on its outskirts. Ludvik (Peter Musevski) is a widowed former national speedway champion who now makes a living transporting illegal immigrants from Croatia to the Italian border. One night, Ludvik challenges his assistant Rudi (Aljosa Kovacic) to a race, but when they kill a beautiful Macedonian girl in an accident, Rudi experiences a moral dilemma. Although the accident brings Ludvik and Rudi closer together as friends, Rudi quickly loses his moral reservations, and becomes degraded and bitter.
