Doug Aitken directs this artistic documentary. On a cross-country train, travelling 4000 miles from New York to San Francisco over 24 days, a group of artists, musicians and dancers join the journey at various points to take part in a series of one minute artistic performances. While the train stops at different stations along the way a series of ten unique happenings take place off the train.
