T-Rex were initially a British folk-rock combo called Tyrannosaurus Rex. The band developed into the primary force of 'Glam Rock' thanks to the creative direction of the guitarist/ vaocalist Marc Bolan. The music exposed the sexuality of early rock & roll whilst sustaining a clear honour to his early hippie spirituality.
