Nauvhal romantic drama set on the remote Vanuatuan island of Tanna in the South Pacific. Based on a true story, the film follows the relationship of Dain (Mungau Dain), the son of the village chief (Charlie Kahla), and Wawa (Marie Wawa), the granddaughter of a shaman. When Wawa is arranged to marry a member of the rival Imedin tribe, the young lovers flee their Yakel tribe and run away together. Although their romance is strictly forbidden by their tribe, the pair risk their lives and those of their tribe to remain together and prove their love for one another.
