Animated feature based on the high-octane video game franchise in which opponents compete against one another in brutal combat bouts. At the heart of the film is a missing girl, Shin Kamiya (voice of Mamoru Miyano), the lone survivor of an experiment to find the secret of youth. A pair of powerful corporations with competing interests lead the chase for Shin, with Lin Xiaoyu (Maaya Sakamoto) and the robot, Alisa Bosconovitch (Yuki Matsuoka), their respective representatives. The pair form something of a bond as they begin to unravel the intriguing back story of the girl and the experiment, but will they be forced to turn against one another in the end?
