Double bill of the Japanese sci-fi cinepoems about mutations, both physical and psychological. In 'Tetsuo - The Iron Man' (1988) an office worker hits a metal fetishist with his car and then inexplicably begins to sprout metal shards from his body. Keen to understand the strange things that are happening to him, he journeys deep into a strange parallel world where humans perform DIY body alterations and women are fitted-out with replacement robotic arms. 'Tetsuo 2 - Bodyhammer' (1992) follows an unassuming office worker who suffers an extreme reaction when his son is kidnapped by members of a skinhead cult. His anger is such that he begins to mutate into a metallic killing machine capable of unleashing almost infinite violence upon anyone who opposes him.
