However, Murray stepped up a gear playing in emphatic style, prizing the next two sets, hitting blistering cross court forehands and punishing smashes. Entering the fifth set the pair were playing exhilarating tennis, highlighted by extraordinary rallies which had the crowd cheering for both players in appreciation of their play.
