Documentary exploring the 1973 'Battle of the Sexes' tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs and its repercussions. After claiming that women played an inferior game and therefore no female player could beat him even at the age of 55, Bobby Riggs played current women's number one Margaret Court and defeated her comfortably. A few months afterwards King stepped up to the mark, after previously declining a challenge from Riggs, going on to beat him in straight sets. Through doing so, King not only restored women's self-esteem in tennis but also paved the way for equal pay among top players regardless of their sex. The match has since been regarded as a significant turning point in tennis and women's sport in general.
