Quirky comedy fantasy starring Juno Temple and Michael Angarano. Art history graduate Alice (Temple) and down-on-his-luck telemarketer John (Angarano) are a married couple in their 20s who are struggling to meet their aspirations for a better life. After a visit to a local antique store lands them a magical brass teapot which supplies cash to its owners when pain has been inflicted on them, the pair begin a campaign of hurt as a means of gaining all the wealth they ever wanted. However, after a visit from violent Orthodox Jews and a mysterious Asian man has the couple worried about the teapot's power, they make a promise to each other that they will stop once a sufficient amount of wealth has been amassed, but will their greed prove too powerful a force for them to call it a day?
