Satirical made-for-TV comedy feature about Britain's phone hacking scandal. Set in the 1970s, the film follows the ambitious young woman Rebekah Brooks (Maxine Peake) as she moves south to London and becomes Chief Executive of Rupert Murdoch (Nigel Planer)'s media group News International. There, she finds herself caught up in The Sun's phone hacking scandal, carried out by its editor Andy Coulson (Russell Tovey).
