When her slimy boyfriend Danny (Peter Brown) uses his unsuspecting girlfriend Elizabeth (Tracy Bregman) to carry a stash of cocaine in her skis she's caught by airport security. Following a speedy trial she is sent for punishment to a correctional institution for women in California where she rapidly learns that she must toughen up if she hopes to survive and leave prison in one piece. Elizabeth discovers that the warden (Jill St. John) is not only cruel and sadistic but in cahoots with a nasty inmate Cat (Barbara Luna) the prison's 'queen bee' who is in fact her partner... in a prison drug and prostitution racket.
