Double collection of British crime dramas. In 'The Crooked Sky' (1957), American detective Mike Conlin (Wayne Morris) is brought in by Scotland Yard to investigate those behind a counterfeiting ring after Britain is flooded with fake currency. Following the death of an American airline radio operator Conlin begins to suspect that the aircraft are being used as part of the smuggling ring and begins to investigate. 'Scarlet Web' (1954) follows insurance investigator Jake Winter (Griffith Jones) as he tries to prove his innocence after he is framed for murder by seductress Laura Vane (Zena Marshall), who hired him to find the person responsible for blackmailing her husband.
