Drama written and directed by Simon Stone. The arrival of Christian (Paul Schneider) to a small town in rural Australia heralds upheaval for two of the town's families. Christian has returned for the wedding of his father Henry (Geoffrey Rush) to the much younger Anna (Anna Torv) and he is unable to hide his growing resentment. Owner of the local mill, Henry has just announced it's closure, meaning unemployment for Christian's childhood friend Oliver (Ewen Leslie). During the course of Christian's stay, Oliver's father Walter (Sam Neill) and daughter Hedvig (Odessa Young) discover a secret about the circumstances of Christian's mother's death that will fundamentally shift their family dynamic.
