Waymon Boone directs this action thriller about an ex-soldier forced to cooperate in a cross-border drug smuggling operation. Separated from his wife Selina (Jenny Lyng) and daughter Chloe (Ava Acres), and suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, former soldier Thomas Conrad (Joel Mathews) finds it tough readjusting to normal life back in Arizona. When he finds himself kidnapped by local Mexican drug cartel enforcer Bill Duffy (Emilio Rivera) and his family are held to ransom, Thomas is forced to cooperate in the cartel's local drug smuggling operation. Fortunately, however, help is on the way in the shape of Thomas's psychiatrist, tough ex-Navy Seal, Dr. Robert Michaels (Ray Liotta).
