Dog chase caper about a bulldog on the run from his mafia owners. When hungry bulldog Sonny accidentally swallows a rare, priceless ring, his mob-boss owner's rage forces him to take to the streets. Eventually ending up in the suburbs, he's taken under the wing of 12-year-old Josh (William Cuddy), much to his father Brian (Bruce Parnell)'s annoyance. But all that changes when Sonny is snatched by some mafia henchman, and Brian, realising how much the loveable pooch now means to his family, sets out on a dangerous mission to free his canine friend.
