After the tragic death of their young son, Vince and Ros McKee (Morrissey and Claudie Blakley) begin to lose their way and start to forget the reasons why they are together. When taxi driver Vince gets a call from his old friend Col (Hart) who has just been released from prison he seizes a rare opportunity for excitement in his now boring life.
