The Enforcer DVD

| DVD

""If you're smart you'll come down - if you're dumb you'll be dead..."" This fast paced crime/noir thriller is reminiscent of some of Bogart's best films of the 30's. Bogart plays a tough District Attorney who goes after an organized gang of killers based on the real life 'Murder Inc.' case. Bogart trades bullet for bullet when his chief witness falls mysteriously to his death and is given 24 hours to rebuild his case.

Realistic crime drama with Humphrey Bogart as a crusading District Attorney out to crush the Mob. All his witnesses are being murdered before they can testify, until he interviews Teresa Davis, roommate of the latest victim. When Bogey realises that it was Teresa who witnessed the gangland murder, he races against time to get to her before the Mob. The film makes use of an intricate web of flashbacks attempting to show the (then largely unknown) structure of an organised crime syndicate.

A tough District Attorney played by Humphrey Bogart goes after an organised gang of killers, based on the real life 'Murder Inc.' case. After his chief witness falls suddenly to his death, Bogart is given 24 hours to solve the mystery.
