Kha Sennedjem Pached Nakhtamon and Inerkhaoui lived here with their families over 3 000 years ago at the time of the New Kingdom. Members of an elite craftsmen's guild they built carved and painted all the monumental tombs in the Valley of the Kings and Queens: extraordinary masterpieces which no living eyes were supposed to see after their own. This film shows us how these artists and craftsmen worked and even ventures to describe their daily lives. It gives us an exceptional opportunity to explore their own small decorated tombs. Their mementoes and belongings... now in collections in the Louvre the Egyptian Museum in Turin and in Cairo are contextualized in such a way as to bring these ancient personalities to life.
