Lawrence Huntington directs this classic British mystery drama adapted from Josephine Tey's 1948 novel of the same name and starring Michael Denison and Dulcie Gray. The film follows young lawyer Robert Blair (Denison) who is asked to defend Marion Sharpe (Gray) and her mother (Marjorie Fielding) against some serious allegations of kidnapping and assault.
