The all time classic tale of a massive escape from a World War Two German Prisoner of War camp released as a two disc DVD set with a host of extra features.
What more can I say but what a film. Even having seen it every year since I was a nipper it is still a cracking movie even though you know what happens you still feel for the Tunnel King (Bronson) when the tunnel gives way for him. The staged pin pick up of Donald Pleasance as he tries to impress James Garner, the slip up from the Top Man (Attenborough) still keeps the heart pounding as he shows his papers and you know what happens next. The special edition gives it that added depth of reality as you see and hear real life stories that the great film was based upon. a great lads film (my wife can't stand the film) but carrying on the tradition my 12 year old son is hooked. A classic film to hand down the generations and even better to enjoy on quality DVD
