Set during WW2 the most dangerous and determined POWs are brought together in a high security camp in an attempt to prevent them escaping. However the increased security only strengthens their resolve to continue their struggle against the enemy in the only way they can. An intricate and daring plot is developed but even outside the camp their courage and bravery are tested to the limits.
