Box set consisting of both Gruffalo films. In 'The Gruffalo' (2009), the animated adaptation of the bestselling children's book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, a cunning little mouse goes for a walk in the forest and manages to outsmart not only a succession of woodland predators but the purple-prickled, wart-nosed Gruffalo too. The film features the voice talents of actors including Robbie Coltrane, Helena Bonham Carter, John Hurt and Rob Brydon. In the sequel 'The Gruffalo's Child' (2011), some time has passed since the events in the first story and the Gruffalo now has a little daughter. After hearing her father's fantastic stories about the Big Bad Mouse in the deep, dark wood, her curiosity gets the better of her and she sets out one snowy night on a thrilling journey of discovery.
