Andie MacDowell stars in this spooky feature drama as Kathy, a recently widowed woman who has started seeing the ghost of her dead husband Jeremy (Tim Roth), an abusive alcoholic who made her life a misery and now continues to torment her from beyond the grave. Still a prisoner of her late husband's anger, Kathy gradually begins to fall in love with Marc (Samuel Le Bihan), a kind-hearted French engineer. Slowly she starts to realise that she can be free of her tormented husband through forgiveness and love, and not through fear and hatred.
