Supernatural horror starring Olivia Wilde and Mark Duplass. Engaged couple Frank (Duplass) and Zoe (Wilde) are medical researchers who invent a serum they name 'Lazarus' which can resurrect the dead. At first they and their team - Niko (Donald Glover), Clay (Evan Peters) and Eva (Sarah Bolger) - experiment on a deceased dog and the serum appears to be a success but they begin to notice strange side effects. When their underground project is shut down they attempt to secretly perform the experiment again in order to validate their work. However, Zoe is electrocuted and dies in the process and Frank uses the serum to bring her back to life but the results are catastrophic as an increasingly violent Zoe begins to develop inhuman abilities...
